I first started my career in dentistry in 1990 after graduating from the Dental Assisting Program at Spokane Community College and passing the Washington State Board exam earning my Dental Assistant Certification. I still fulfill my continued education of 12 credits a year to keep my credentials; so don’t be surprised to see me working clinically with patients as well.
My favorite part of working at a family practice is the relationships that are created with the patients that walk through the door. I always say, “It’s like seeing your family and friends all day and you get to help them smile!” “How awesome is that?”
Through the years with seeking continued education and the help of mentors in my life; I have learned the administrative side of the dental practice. I am now the office manager and I am often regarded by Dr. Smith as a “Swiss army knife” having multiple talents.
Aside from the office, I am happily married to the love of my life and best friend Dan. We have four children whom we cherish and six beautiful grandchildren that range from 1-10 years old, but I am hoping for more grandbabies to love. They all have stolen my heart.
I am basically from Washington, as I have lived all over the state. I graduated high school from Colville and went to college at EWU to earn my Bachelor’s in business. I now have been in Spokane since starting in the Dental field. I have worked in dentistry for 25 years. I enjoy my relationships with our patients and helping them get the best care while maximizing their insurance benefits. I feel fortunate to work with such an amazing team whom are all about helping our patients get the best care and we have a family feeling. I have been married to my best friend Bob for 23 years. We have 3 amazing kiddos. We enjoy trips to Hawaii and spending time with family and friends.
I have been in the Dental field for 22 years and I was an Orthodontic Assistant for 14 years of that. I love patient relationships and working with our awesome team at Spokane Dental.
I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have two kids. As a family we enjoy our weekends at Priest Lake camping, fishing, swimming, and being with family and friends. I work two days a week and that is perfect with juggling kids with sports, school and work.
I have been a dental assistant for 32 years. My experience in dental assisting range from working in offices with special needs patients to periodontal and general dentistry.
I enjoy keeping active by working out at the gym, hiking, participating in local half-marathons, and traveling. My hobbies also include baking and gardening. I have two sons and enjoy my time with family and friends.

I graduated from Dental Assisting School in 2004 and have been in the dental field ever since. In my free time I love spending time with my husband, son and daughter. We like to watch Gonzaga and go to their games. I enjoy the outdoors, going to local lakes, road trips, and going to Montana to see my family.
I grew up in the Spokane area and graduated from EWU with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2015. I enjoy spending time with my husband and 2 children as well as crafting. I strive to provide gentle yet thorough care to my patients and helping them maintain optimal oral health.
